New Business Development Manager

Who are we?
We're a fun and friendly digital agency based in Fulham, London. There are twenty of us and we are 6 years old. Our clients are typically large healthcare organisations like Johnson & Johnson, Glaxo Smithkline, Takeda, Nuffield Health. We design, build and maintain websites, intranet sites and other digital communications.

What's the role?
The main objective of the role is to generate and develop sales leads into new clients. To do this we are looking for someone to:

  • Formulate a NBD strategy and agree it with the MD
  • Generate new business leads
  • Build and manage our contact list
  • Call prospects to arrange initial meetings
  • Attend meetings with prospective clients
  • Organise pitches and proposals
  • Follow-up our prospects and convert them
  • Organise website updates
  • Organise a regular email newsletter
  • Draft press releases and circulate to appropriate titles
  • Write case studies
  • Manage Google Adwords and other online campaigns

Who are you?
We're looking for someone who has plenty of experience and skills in sales, business development and/or marketing. Experience in digital or healthcare industries is useful but by no means essential. Above all, you need to be confident and comfortable selling to people.

What are we offering?

  • This is a part-time position (3-4 days per week) with flexible hours
  • Working from home is not a problem although we would want someone who can come into the office once or twice a week in order to get to know the team, our services, the company, culture etc.
  • We believe this position would suit a mum who wants to come back to work but still wants to devote plenty of time to her family
  • We are offering a salary of approx £32k pro-rata
  • We pay a decent bonus (10%) to employees who go the extra mile
