Student Internship: Student Web Developer
September 2011 - September 2012

Who are you?
You are a bright individual with a personable nature, highly organised and like working with others from different countries and backgrounds. Either as part of your studies and/or commercial experience, you have worked on websites and/or intranets where you were responsible for building web pages (preferably business-to-business) and website maintenance. This means:
- You're able to complete duties on time whilst maintaining the quality of your work. You have a willingness to work until the task is complete.
- You have a sense of humour, a positive approach and work well within a team.
- You have enthusiasm for learning new technologies and applications.
- You have a good portfolio of work, either from your studies or other work experience. (please provide a link or files along with your application)
- You have a broad set of skills and are always working to improve and learn
Skills & Experience:
- On a technology degree of some sort, or have a good portfolio of work.
- Technically competent and with a good idea of how websites work. Able to use a variety of technologies and languages including:
- HTML / CSS - Good
- JavaScript / JQuery - Good / Beginner
- PHP or ASP - Procedural code - Beginner
- Photoshop (Slicing designs) - Beginner
- SharePoint/Drupal/Wordpress/Joomla - Any experience a bonus
- Able to work in a fast paced environment across multiple projects
- An eye for detail and a dedication to making your code pixel perfect.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Create page layouts for websites and intranets using HTML & CSS
- Publish and upload content to the sites using a CMS.
- Design graphic elements of web pages
- Create and/or modify flash applications and animations
- Create and send HTML newsletters to website users.
- Perform various project tasks in support of your manager.
